The Blob 1988 Movie Review from the Salty nerds has them comparing this film (which was written by Frank Darabont) to John Carpenter movies, particularly The Thing.
This remake of The Blob has some amazing gore effects which still hold up to this day, making it a super-fun 1980s horror movie. Kevin Dillon and Shawnee Smith also have some crazy bad hair extensions.
When an inside-out stomach is unleashed in a small ski town, people start dying left and right, and it's up to the resident cheerleader and town bad boy to team up and stop it, before it eats everything in sight!
