Stargate Atlantis Rising review has the Salty Nerds diving into the first ever episode of the SG-1 spin-off with new characters in a new galaxy, AND with a new threat to humanity!
We see Richard Dean Anderson pass the torch to Joe Flanigan as Stargate Command sends an expedition to the Pegasus Galaxy. Led by Dr. Elizabeth Weir and accompanied by super-genius Rodney McKay, the Atlantis team goes on a "one way trip" in the name of exploration.
However, it isn't long before the team discovers new dangers in the form of the Wraith, a species of space vampires that defeated the Ancients and feeds on humans.
