Star Trek The Original Series Arena review from the Salty Nerds has them admiring William Shatner and his double-hammer fist as he goes toe-to-toe with the Gorn in this classic episode of man vs. beast vs. alien vs. keeping your shirt on.
Captain Kirk, Spock, and McCoy are lured to a Federation outpost with the promise of a fancy meal from a personal chef of a Commodore only to find out a bunch of alien jerks have laid a trap for them. After much zig-zagging, tactical combat rolls, army crawls, and mortar fire, Kirk and crew are able to fight off the mysterious attackers just as George Takei arrives with the Enterprise to run down their assailants.
And Kirk is about to kick some major Gorn butt until these other alien jerks called the Mentrons appear and force Kirk and the Gorn captain to fight to the death for their viewing pleasure. What follows is most likely one of the best fight scenes ever put on television. This is one classic episode of Star Trek The Original Series you won't want to miss!
