Star Trek Balance Of Terror review has the Salty Nerds doing a retrospective review on one of their favorite episodes of the Original Series - Balance of Terror! This episode introduces us to the Romulans for the first time and sees Captain Kirk match wits in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with the rival Romulan commander.
This episode covers a lot of ground, from an allegory of Pearl Harbor, to Vulcan bigotry, and some great lore building with the establishment of the Neutral Zone and our introductions to the Romulan Empire. We also get some awesome space battle action as the Enterprise does its own version of "Run Silent Run Deep."
