Star Trek movies review 4-6 from the Salty Nerds has them reviewing and breaking down the final three movies from the Original Series cast, and loving every minute of it!
The Nerds start with SPACE WHALES and Star Trek 4 The Voyage Home. Star Trek IV is probably the most popular Star Trek movie for the general public, and the Salty Nerds certainly loved every minute of it, from its "save the whales" message to its "double dumbass on you" attitude! Also, Leondard Nemoy directed it!
Then the Nerds tackle what is widely considered to be the WORST Star Trek movie ever made, Star Trek 5 The Final Frontier. Otherwise known as "God needs a spaceship from Spock's brother!" Shatner directed this movie, and you can tell because his ego is on full display here, along with dancing cat ladies with three teets! But despite all that, they can agree that Star Trek V The Final Frontier does have a certain charm to it.
Finally, the Nerds round out their review with Star Trek 6 The Undiscovered Country, the FINAL movie featuring the entire cast of Star Trek the original series. Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country has got action, political intrigue, mystery, and all sorts of twists and turns. Nicholas Meyer, who wrote and directed The Wrath of Kahn, returns to direct Kirk, Spock, and McCoy in their final adventure, and it is glorious!
