Day Shift review from the Salty Nerds has them marveling over the fact that there's a Netflix Original movie that they actually like for once.
Day Shift, starring Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg, is the type of movie that would spawn if Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Blade, and John Wick were all in a wild orgy and had a baby together. Jamie Foxx is a vampire hunter who needs some quick cash, so he's teamed up with his "union rep" Dave Franco to find some vampires.
This horror action comedy film is a lot of fun and has some incredible action scenes and great mythology to it. It's also a very unevenly paced movie, but it's so entertaining you can easily overlook many of its shortcomings.
