Leon The Professional movie review from the Salty Nerds has them singing the praises of this Luc Besson action film, while also getting squeamish about the underage romance that the film centers around.
Jean Reno plays Leon, a simple hitman whose life is turned upside-down when he rescues plucky next door neighbor Matilde (played by Natalie Portman in her first ever movie role) from a group of corrupt DEA agents lead by Gary Oldman.
Gary Oldman steals this movie with his incredible portrayal of a drug-addled cop gone bad, and Luc Besson's signature style of action mixed with emotional drama is on full display here.
