Amazon is currently deciding whether their Lord of the Rings adaptation is good enough to get another season. All the fans know it isn't, but that hasn't stopped Amazon from throwing good money after bad. The good news is that in order to entice Amazon to give them a season three, the showrunners have basically fired their entire writing staff so they could bring on maybe passable writers for a change?
