Due to the 2023 Writers Strike, HBO has decided to suspend author George RR Martin's development deal. GRRM has been busy developing all sorts of Game Of Thrones related content for the channel, but now he's deciding to take a break until HBO decides its worth paying him ridiculous sums of money not to write novels again.
In addition to House of the Dragon, George was working on his Dunk and Egg adaptation A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms, as well as a stage play based on Westerosi history. But now that he's done with TV for the time being, will he actually be forced to work on the long awaited The Winds Of Winter?
