What are some funny weed movies to watch on 4/20? The Salty Nerds chose Pineapple Express, Friday, and Half Baked to celebrate everyone's favorite cannabis day!
So you ever seen a stoner comedy... on weeeeeed? Well, the Salty Nerds were STONE COLDE SOBER when they watched these modern stoner movies, and still enjoyed the heck out of them!
First up is the hood classic Friday, starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker, about a couple of friends who sit around on their front porch, getting high off the devil's lettuce, and trying not to get shot.
Next is Half Baked, Dave Chappelle's first movie where he headlined the cast. It's probably one of the best weed movies out there, even if Chappelle did say it turned into a "drug movie for kids." But, hey, we still like it, even if it has Jim Brewer in it!
Finally, we round out our funniest weed movie picks with Pineapple Express, the Jud Apatow comedy starring Seth Rogan, James Franco, and a host of other awesome actors. This marijuana movie has it all - laughs, action, thug life, and most of all - lots and lots of pot!
