The Salty Nerds sit down and review the Pilot episode of the classic (and criminally underrated) SyFy TV show, Eureka! A show about a town full of super geniuses and the dopey sheriff who constantly saves them from disaster by being stupider than everyone else.
Colin Ferguson plays the lovable Sheriff Jack Carter and in this episode, Carter and his delinquent daughter Zoe happen upon a town called Eureka just as a tachyon experiment goes awry and the laws of physics begin to unravel.
Once the town's current sheriff is sidelined, Jack is forced to step-up and use his streetsmarts to figure out what's going on and how to stop it before the entire world is destroyed. Not a bad first day on the job, eh?
