EDTV Movie Review from the Salty Nerds have them discussing why a movie with such a great cast and premise is so aggressively mediocre as to be considered boring.
EDTV is about a dude named Ed (played by Matthew McConaughey) as he's followed around by a camera crew 24/7 and his life becomes a ratings hit. Ellen DeGeneres, Rob Reiner, Dennis Hopper, and Woody Harrelson are all looking to exploit Ed for their own purposes, while Jenna Elfman just wants to be loved - and kept out of the public eye.
Directed by Ron Howard, this movie is supposedly a "comedy" but at the end of the day, it's just sort-of "meh."
