Collision Course movie review from the Salty Nerds has them suffering through a bad buddy cop movie from the 80s that is not only unfunny, but also filled with late 80s soft racism.
Pat Morita is basically playing Mr. Miyagi in this movie, opposite Jay Leno who is a womanizing creep. The odd couple duo make their way through the mean streets of Detroit as they try to get to the bottom of a complicated espionage plot involving Chris Sarandon and his terrible mustache.
There are lots of fun 80s nostalgia jokes in this movie, as well as an interesting story in the making of this movie (called Kamikaze Detroit in international markets). But overall, the movie isn't very good and is very hard to get through. In fact, Jay Leno has apologized for the film on numerous occasions!
