Grab a martini and a girl in a bikini because the Salty Nerds are talking Bond, Brosnan Bond. What does the crew think of the 90s James Bond films with their terrible puns and giant freakin' laser beams? Find out in this episode!
First up, the Nerds talk about the movie that re-launched the Bond franchise, GOLDENEYE! Yes, the one with the femme fatale that crushes men with her sumptuous thighs and where Sean Bean dies multiple times. But it's also the movie that took Bond into the 90s and set the stage of what to expect from Brosnan.
Then we talk about the movie where Denise Richards plays a nuclear physicist and the guy from the Full Monty goes Full Evil - The World Is Not Enough. But that's more than enough for the Salty Nerds as they watch glorious boat chases and Denise Richards skin-tight outfits and lackluster line delivery.
Finally, there's what is probably the WORST Brosnan Bond movie, the Madonna-rific Die Another Day. Not only does it have Madonna do a cameo, she also sings the most annoying Bond theme song ever. Halle Berry shows up (for some reason), and there's lots of GIANT FREAKIN' LASERS and ridiculously long action set pieces. The Nerds would prefer death to having to sit through this terrible movie again!
