Salty Nerds Review: Jung_E (2023)

Jung_E movie review from the Salty Nerds have them marveling at how good Korean cinema is at making awesome sci-fi movies.

Jung_E takes place on an uninhabitable Earth that has been ravaged by ecological disasters and a drawn-out civil war.  Victory hinges on cloning the brain of an elite soldier to create the ultimate robot combat AI.  However, corporate politics and greed get in the way, and the daughter of the soldier must now choose between helping the war effort, or her parent.

Yet another hidden gem from Netflix's library of foreign films, Jung_E is a great movie with amazing special effects and a really good heart at the core of its story.  If you haven't yet seen this movie, you definitely need to check it out!
