Salty Nerd Reviews: Jiu Jitsu (2020)

The Salty Nerds review one of Nicholas Cage's latest paycheck movies - the sci-fi martial arts "epic" Jiu Jitsu. (It's a cross between Mortal Kombat and Predator, but with a space samurai.) There are lots of throwing stars and slow motion action scenes, but very little enjoyment, as the salt flows heavily among the nerds. Alex and Jude reenact scenes together (with better acting, oddly enough), while Kadish attempts to explain the plot as Vader's soul leaves his body.
